A Law Students Biggest Time Drain With The Least Reward – Briefing Cases – A False Sense of Accomplishment

If you think briefing cases as a law student contributes in any manner toward your success in law school, think again.  Not only does this practice take a considerable amount of your valuable time, it provides you with a false sense of accomplishment.

Unfortunately, after briefing a mountain of cases, you feel you have taken a step forward in your journey towards law school success: you haven’t.  Your thinking like an undergraduate, not a law student, and your purposely being fooled by your law professors.

If your final grade in any of your law school classes is based upon your case briefing, then by all means, brief away.   We, at Elite, have yet to advise and counsel a single law student who’s final grade was based upon case briefing.  What should you do then?  Contact Elite to learn how we can focus your time and energy on what really matters to succeed in law school.  We look forward to chatting with you!
